Rivanna Trail in 3 Minutes

On Sunday some friends and I hiked the entire Rivanna Trail urban trail system in one day. It was great. The hike is 19.9 miles long, and took us 7 hours and 51 minutes, with very little stopping. I took a photo approximately every 3 minutes along the trail to create the video below. Check it out!

This is wonderful! So glad you included the rising motorbike. My own circumnavigation is slower (I’m 1/3 around) but you inspire me to keep going.

Thank you – this is awesome. I have hiked/biked bits and pieces and this morning completed the final segment. Next plan is to hike the entire loop.

Your photos are really helpful for knowing where to go when the RTF signs suddenly disappear. It was nice seeing that you actually have to wade through the water at Woolen Mills, which we ended up doing today.

  4. Recently, one of my friends friend has been charged with attempted kidnapping, robbery, and attempted murder with
a deadly weapon against a 26 year old. I was wondering how many years in
jail will he get?. He is also a juvenile he is 17.
